How did it all begin?

Like many of you, I've been a sports enthusiast my entire life, growing up playing every sport imaginable. Yet, it wasn't until I started my own family that I truly understood the immense challenges parents face with sports equipment.

I quickly realized why so many families struggle to make ends meet. It's not just the initial cost, it's the constant cycle of buying new gear year after year as kids rapidly outgrow their equipment. And what about those times when a child tries a sport only to decide after a few practices that it's not for them, perhaps because the equipment doesn't feel right or they simply don't like the sport anymore? That perfectly good, often expensive, pieces of equipment then sits unused, gathering dust for years, until it's eventually passed down or, worse, discarded.

This recurring problem became my "aha!" moment. I knew Canada, a nation deeply passionate about sports, needed a modern solution. We envisioned a marketplace that directly addresses these challenges, creating an affordable and sustainable way for families to access high-quality sports equipment.

What is your mission?

To ensure every Canadian child has the opportunity to play, explore, and fall in love with sports, free from financial barriers. We're building a community where families can easily find pre-loved gear, sell equipment their kids have outgrown, and discover innovative new options without breaking the bank. All this without the need to meetup and have everything shipped to your door. This marketplace is more than just a place to buy and sell; it's a platform designed to simplify the lives of Canadian sports families and keep more kids in the game.

My audience is the entire Canadian sporting community, with a particular emphasis on those seeking affordable and sustainable equipment solutions.
